Time out from everyday life

We, Werner and Hilde Trapp, have been living for almost 50 years together ot the Birkenhof.

In 1961, the beautifully situated house, which is located about 1km outside of Gappenach, was initially run as a farm. We worked and lived together as an extended family. Our three daughters stayed here for a nature-loving and carefree childhood and youth. Susanna is still living at the Birkenhof.

Our cozy and spacious holiday home is located outside the village Gappenach. It can accomodate families as well as small groups.

The holiday home has two double bedrooms. Furthermore, two single beds and an air bed are set up on the converted attic. In addition to the kitchen, bathroom and separate guest-bathroom, the apartment has a very spacious living room. If necessary, the big couch can be set up as a sleeping place as well.

The beautiful countryside of the Maifeld offers exciting destinations such as Burg Eltz as well as beautiful walking routes on the Traumpfade.
